At various times, almost always in an individual and solitary way, we feel predisposed to silence and reflection in some natural spaces, when we find or reencounter some poetic elements of nature that, intimately, transport our thoughts inwardly.
But many other times, we run into spaces built for silence, symbolic landscapes designed for remembrance and reflection, inviting us to travel in time, in an attempt to form a collective memory of the past.
Territories of silence that we sometimes look for as places of peace and calm and, at others, as a reflective mirror, reminding us of our past or the future of part of our history as a society.
